Personal Information regarding the purchaser of a Gift Card is collected for the purposes of processing the order for a Gift Card. Personal Information will be directed to Voucher Express which will process the order on behalf of Selfridges. Your Personal Information will be kept on the Voucher Express database for a period of six months following the date of an order or until any outstanding matters concerning that order have been resolved, whichever occurs later.
During the on-line ordering procedure, as a purchaser, you will be asked for your permission for your Personal Information to be used by Selfridges to inform you about special offers and events and in-store promotions. If you agree, your Personal Information will be stored by a third party service provider as agent for Selfridges. The service provider used by Selfridges for these purposes is DesignUK.
Credit card numbers given by purchasers will be wiped from Voucher Express' database following dispatch to recipients of Gift Cards purchased.
In addition to our own verification procedures Voucher Express employs Verified by Visa / MasterCard Securecode which allows customers to protect their credit cards used online by assigning a secret password. If you have joined the scheme you will be required to provide your password during completion of your order. Voucher Express has no knowledge of, or access to, your password. To maintain secrecy your password is submitted directly to your card issuer, over a secure link, and does not get seen or stored by our system
Personal Information received regarding a recipient of a Gift Card is collected solely for the purposes of facilitating the delivery of a Gift Card to the recipient by Voucher Express. Personal Information regarding a recipient will be kept on the Voucher Express database for a period of six months following the date of an order or until any outstanding matters concerning that order have been resolved whichever occurs later.
Other than as set out above, under no circumstances will any of the Personal Information regarding a purchaser or a recipient of a Gift Card be given to a third party.
"Selfridges" means Selfridges Retail Limited, 400 Oxford Street, London W1A 1AB.
"DesignUK" means DesignUK Ltd, 12-14 Denman Street, Piccadilly, London W1D 7HJ.
"Personal Information" means:
- in respect of a purchaser, all of Your personal details provided during the online ordering process; and
- in respect of a recipient, all of the recipient's personal details as provided by the purchaser during the online ordering process.
"Gift Card" means a Gift Card acquired through the Company's website.
"Voucher Express" means Voucher Express, Metcalfe House, 23H Kirkgate, Ripon, North Yorkshire HG4 1PB.
"You" or "Your" means a person purchasing a Gift Card through the Company's website.
